As part of our responsibility we try to make every attempt to locate individuals who still have checks outstanding with the Ohio & Vicinity Carpenters’ Fringe Benefit Funds. 

Names listed below are people who have not yet cashed the checks they received from the Fund office or an individual who we cannot locate that has an outstanding check with the Fund office.

Unclaimed Funds

What should I do if I see my name listed under the unclaimed funds? 
1. Contact our office at (216) 361-6190 or toll free at (800) 421-3959 and ask for extension 535.
2. You will need to provide your name, current address, phone number where you can be reached and your social security number.
3. We will then verify the amount of the unclaimed funds and re-issue a check to you.

What if the original owner of the unclaimed funds is deceased or incapacitated?
1. You must show that the account belonged to the original owner, including: name, current address, phone number and ss#.
2. You must prove that you are the rightful recipient of the funds, and you are legally entitled to claim these funds for the owner, for example if the owner is incapacitated or deceased.  If the owner is incapacitated you must show us proper documentation of proof of guardianship or custodial rights.
3. If the owner is deceased, you must show us documentation that grants you the right to obtain the unclaimed funds.
